It was a busy week. Time to do some catch up.
The latest in things from the past becoming Broadway musicals is The Flintstones.
Stephen Colbert's "Humble Kanye" campaign succeeded. Sort of. He didn't get to number one on iTunes, but he went one spot above Kanye West.
Mad Men's John Hamm is joining 30 Rock for a multi-episode arc as Liz Lemon's boyfriend.
CNN is scrapping their science/technology/environment/space division. Must not be much going on in those areas.
The Kids in the Hall are writing an eight episode miniseries for Canadian TV.
NBC cut the order of Knight Rider episodes from 21 to 17 and the show has halted production. So it's sort of unofficially canceled.
The CW finally announced a date for Reaper's return. March 17. Will anyone remember it by then? I enjoyed it last season, but I'm not sure I care enough to watch anymore.
A bunch of BSG props and stuff is going up for auction on January 17.
ABC announced that Nathan Fillion's new show, Castle, will premiere on March 9. The reboot of Cupid starts on March 24.
The BSG prequel series Caprica has officially been greenlit. It should debut sometime in 2010.
CBS has ordered five more episodes of Eleventh Hour. I've still only seen the pilot, but it was pretty horrible. Maybe it gets better. I'll let you know after I've seen a few more.
Funnyordie.com is going to sneak peek the first episode of the new season of Flight of the Conchords on December 17th. The show will be up for four days.

More BSG news: In anticipation of the new episodes in January, SCI-FI is putting up new webisods (still hate that word) starting December 12. I may or may not watch them since I've been fairly successful in missing spoilers so far.

Turns out the Grammy nominations were this week. I had no idea.
Booka Shade is putting out a new digital-only download on December 12. Alan introduced me to them in September when we drove to Tahoe together. I've been listening to them a lot ever since.
The Specials are reuniting for a tour in the UK in May. Speculation is that they'll play Coachella before the tour starts.
There's going to be a Zoolander 2? And a Speed 3? Beverly Hills Cop 4? Really? And we're getting a Planet of the Apes origin story? Wow.
I haven't really said anything about Twilight for many reasons, mostly because I don't give a crap about it. But apparently the director of this "franchise" was canned for subsequent movies.
The new Star Trek is going to show in IMAX as well.
Will Smith is saying in interviews that there will be a sequel to Hancock.
